Second Star seeks to promote health and wellbeing by providing space to integrate practices of meditation, yoga, and health awareness to create balance and harmony.

We offer training with experienced practitioners in contemplative and tranquil settings which provide an opportunity for individuals to fully absorb the benefits of these practices. Founded by Dr. Eleanore Bernadas M.D., Second Star is a product of her vision to promote preventative health in the community. Her years of yoga practice and her experience in primary care have fueled her desire to create space for diverse individuals to find a path to their ideal health.

It is Cassie's belief that healing truly begins when we make peace with this inner voice. Cassie has studied a variety of alternative practices including Craniosacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Aromatherapy. Cassie has been practicing and teaching meditation for several years. Her teachings blend much of her past experiences in the above therapeutic practices as well as the ancient systems of Ayurvedic & Traditional Chinese Meditation, and Buddhist philosophy.
